Ingredients
  

Sauce

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 small clove garlic pressed or minced

Sandwich

  • 1 large ciabatta baguette 24 inch from Trader Joe's
  • ½-3/4 cup pesto
  • 8-10 oz smoked turkey
  • 12-15 slices salami
  • 12-15 slices pepperoni
  • fresh mozzarella cheese
  • oven roasted tomatoes or fresh or sun-dried
  • balsamic glaze optional
  • olive oil

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place mayo in a small bowl and press garlic into it. Set aside.
  • Preheat oven to broil and place oven rack on the top.
  • Cut ciabatta roll in half lengthwise and place on a foil-lined baking sheet.
  • Brush both sides of open baguette with olive oil and broil until golden brown.
  • Spread pesto on one half and garlic-mayo on the other.
  • Layer turkey, salami, and pepperoni over the mayo side.
  • Place mozzarella over the pesto side and top with roasted tomatoes.
  • Warm the sandwich in the oven for 3-5 minutes until cheese is melty.
  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze if using, then assemble the sandwich.
  • Slice using a sharp knife.
