Mushroom Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh mushrooms cleaned and sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Ranch dressing for dipping

Cooking Instructions

  • Set up three shallow bowls or plates: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with seasoned breadcrumbs (mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper).
  • Work in batches to dip each sliced mushroom into the flour, then into the egg, and finally press into the breadcrumb mixture to cover fully. Shake off any excess.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry each side of the mushrooms for 2–3 minutes until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  • Plate the mushrooms hot with ranch dressing on the side and serve immediately.
