A quick and easy ginger shot recipe to wake you up, sweetened with apple and lemon.

  • Muslin cloth or tea towel
  • Glass or jar

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 large piece ginger
  • 1 piece apple
  • 1 each lemon zest and juice

Preparation Instructions

  • Chop the ginger and apple into small pieces (no need to peel). Add to a blender with the lemon zest and juice.
  • Blitz together - it will be quite thick but you can add a splash of water to the blender if it needs it.
  • Tip into a muslin cloth or tea towel. Squeeze out all the liquid into a clean glass, jug, jar or bottle.
  • Drink now or keep in the fridge for up to 5 days, just give it a good shake each time!

Notes

Add a little grated turmeric and cracked black pepper for a boost!
